Black Nike Tiempo Legend 10 Pro boots on grass

The Nike Tiempo Legend has had great success over the years but is the latest Tiempo Legend 10 Pro good for players with wide feet?

Design and Construction:

The upper is made from Nike's all-new FlyTouch Pro synthetic leather which Nike claim is softer than natural leather. The upper has micro-dots on the instep to improve touch when passing and uses All Conditions Control technology to help ensure grip even when wet. Complementing this is a knit inner sleeve which enables the boot to hug the foot securely. Meanwhile, the outsole combines both rounded and flat studs, placed thoughtfully to offer great traction when changing direction.

Suitability for wide feet:

I really like the shape of these boots. The shape feels suited for players with regular to above average width feet, offering ample room across the forefoot. The synthetic leather will also offer some degree of stretch, while the knit inner sleeve means that the boot will hug the foot a bit more tightly. For those who find the Tiempo Legend 10 Pro too narrow, I would suggest looking at wider boots such as the New Balance 442 v2 Pro Wide (2E) or the Puma Future 7 Pro.

Worth noting:

Whilst the synthetic leather may be softer than some types of natural leather, I'm not convinced it is as soft as the premium leather used on similarly priced boots.
